University of Redlands
University of Redlands opened its doors to 59 students in September 1909. Now
independent, the university maintains an informal relationship with the American Baptist
church. This is a private, independent liberal arts university committed to providing a
personalized education that encourages students to make enlightened choices.
The university's beautiful residential campus, located in the City of Redlands in Southern
California, hosts the College of Arts and Sciences and the School of Education. The School
of Business locates its programs on the Redlands campus and in staffed regional
campuses throughout Southern California.
Redlands blends liberal arts and professional programs, Small classes enable each student
to participate in class discussion, to work closely with professors, and to receive extensive
individual attention. Redlands remains sensitive to contemporary trends in society and
